Fenced in Family is owned and operated by Jon and Cindy Horton. We live in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia where we homeschool our three children – Nick, age 10, James, age 7, and Robert, age 3.

We love reading aloud together as a family – everything from picture books to classic novels. Our reading leads to lively discussions and research into different time periods or events as we discover them. One of my favorite things about our time spent reading together is when I hear the boys playing Lewis & Clark, Charlemagne, the Battle of Hastings, or some other character/event that we’ve recently read.
