Last Saturday, October 11, 2008, was the National Wildlife Federation’s day for Make Tracks! They organized the day to encourage families to get outdoors for a hike. We decided to go to Pinnacle Rock State Park in Bramwell, WV. I had visited Pinnacle Rock about ten years ago when I was in college, but the rest of my family had never been there.
The weather was beautiful, about 75 degrees and partly cloudy. On top of the rock, the wind was blowing pleasantly. After we climbed the rock and came back down, the boys played in the shade among the oak trees for a while. They gathered acorns, and James even ate part of one!

That view is awe inspiring. The fact you are hiking with a baby strapped to you is pretty impressive also!
