Simple Woman’s Daybook 12-7-2008

FOR TODAY December 7, 2008…(From what I’ve seen, most people do this meme on Monday but that’s just not feasible for me. So I’m writing it Sunday early evening and will schedule it to post Monday morning.)

Outside my window, it’s getting dark and the clouds are thick and heavy.  I can see the bare tree branches outside my window.  No snow on them, but there’s snow on the ground.

I am thinking that I’m cold because I ate all the ice in my drink.

I am thankful for Sundays, our church, and getting filled up with Jesus.

From the learning rooms (the kitchen at the moment), James is learning that when he asks for more ice cream and Daddy says no, Daddy actually means no.

From the kitchen, James is learning… okay, you know that already…

I am wearing a gray sweater, black skirt with white flower outlines and blackish-brown socks…oh and my glasses and a hair stick.

I am creating this post.  I’m also knitting rounds on something I can’t write about here until after Christmas.

I am going to church in about 15 minutes.

I am reading these words I’m typing?  I’m not working on any books at the moment, other than the Bible, that I can think.

I am hoping we don’t bounce any checks before next payday.  Ha!

I am hearing Jon ask me silly questions. (Sorry, that just came out.)

Around the house, James has turned off the living room light, Nicholas is reading in the kitchen, Jon and Robert are in the bedroom and it’s time for James to put his church clothes back on.

One of my favorite things is a glass of Sunkist with crunchy ice.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  Work on knitting Christmas gifts, write at least (hopefully) two articles for Candy Addict, write some TOS Homeschool Crew reviews to share with you here, wrap Robert’s birthday presents, clean the bathrooms, vacuum the house, work on the Prairie Primer with the boys, help James wrap Dad’s Christmas present…oh, you said a few.

Here is picture thought I am sharing…

Thank you to Peggy for hosting The Simple Woman’s Daybook.
