Sledding at Last

After more than two weeks of 50 degree weather, we finally had snow today! The boys were able to use the sleds they got for Christmas. I took a little video of it…it’s not the best in the world, since I was standing in the doorway and they were down the road a little bit. But maybe you’ll enjoy it anyway. It’s about two and a half minutes long.

When James came up to the porch, I asked him what was wrong. He said, “Finished” and ran into the house. It’s so funny how he (our spring baby) doesn’t like to stay out in the cold more than about 15-20 minutes while Nicholas (our winter baby) will stay in the snow for hours but doesn’t like to stay out in hot weather (unless he’s playing in the water hose). It’ll be interesting to see if this plays true with Robert (another winter baby).

  • My son had a snow day today and was outside in it for a couple of hours. When he has a snow day he automatically dresses himself in two layers knowing there’s going to be some sled riding.

  • Nana and Grandad

Boy does that look like fun. If Grandad and I were there ,he would play in the snow with you, he was a winter baby(Feb) but I would probably just watch from the porch, or maybe through the window(I was born in august, brrrrrrr. I am with James , give me some hot cocoa, brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. lots of love,Nana
